Ingredients (for 4-6 people ):
- 500 g white fish fillets cheap
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Thai fish sauce
- 1 egg, beaten (the poor )
- a handful of leaves of cilantro , coarsely chopped fresh (reserve stems for sauce)
- 3 teaspoons of paste curry red
- 2 onions, spring, finely chopped
- frying oil
- 1 large lettuce
- 1 lime

For the sauce (Nam Prik)
- 4 tablespoons Thai fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons red pepper, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons chopped cilantro stems
- 2 teaspoons of sugar, brown sugar

Preparation: Place the raw fish cut into chunks in a food processor and chop for 20 seconds at high speed. Add flour, turmeric, fish sauce, egg. The leaves of coriander, curry paste, the onion and mix 10 seconds until good mixing. Put the dough in a bowl and let stand in refrigerator for 30 minutes minimum. Take advantage of this respite to prepare the sauce: Add all ingredients in a small bowl or ramekin, stir well, cover and leave in the fridge. After washing and dry the lettuce, place the leaves flat and range in a large flat “flat” (a little humor brightens the life of the household). Cut the lemon into quarters and place them around the dish. With his little hands, making cakes with the dough out of the fridge with a width of approximately 5 cm and 1-2 cm thick.
