<p><strong>Ingredients for four people:</strong></p>
<p><strong>¤</strong> 8 medium potatoes, sliced<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 1 large onion into thin rings<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 300 g of mushrooms into thin slices<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 4 cloves garlic, minced<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 4 cardamom pods<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 2 bay leaves<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 1 teaspoon of turmeric<br />
<strong>¤</strong> 1 teaspoon curry powder<br />
<strong>¤</strong> A piece of cinnamon stick<br />
<strong>¤</strong> Chilli ½<br />
<strong>¤</strong> Salt to taste<br />

<p><strong>How to make the recipe:</strong></p>
<p>Heat oil in wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and fry until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.</p>
<p>In the same oil, add cardamom pods, cinnamon, pepper and bay leaves, let sizzle a few seconds. Add the onion, garlic and saute 4 to 5 minutes, until tender</p>
<p>Add mushrooms, saute a few minutes, add the potatoes, turmeric, curry powder and mix well. Reduce heat to medium, cover wok and cook for dajar 8 to 9 minutes, until potato is tender.</p>
<p><strong>Note: </strong>You can serve with the pakoras and a vegetarian dish is very full and tasty.</p>
