Ingredients: for a mold of 20 cm. in diameter
¤ 6 eggs, separated whites from the yolks
¤ 200grs. sugar
¤ 200 grs. chopped raw almonds
¤ The grated rind of one lemon
¤ Pinch of cinnamon
¤ 2 tablespoons flour (optional)
¤ Butter for pan
¤ Powdered sugar
How to make the recipe:
Turn the oven half an hour before – thermostat 170 degrees if electric. Grease pan with butter.
In a large bowl place yolks, 200 gr. sugar and mix well. Add the almonds, lemon zest, cinnamon and two tablespoons of flour, mix well.
In another bowl mount whites until stiff, mix everything together from the bottom up carefully, pour into the pan and put it in the oven (on top) about 45 minutes. Look and prick with a toothpick comes out clean, you’re cooked. Remove from oven and let cool.
