The salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, a special fats that have beneficial effects on many body functions. The river salmon is more nutritious, as the content of omega-3 is higher than the farm-bred.
Ingredients for two people:
¤ 2 slices of fresh salmon
¤ 2 large potatoes
¤ 200 grs. French beans
¤ 2 carrots
¤ 200 grs. Mushrooms
¤ 3 garlic
¤ pepper (optional)
¤ virgin olive oil
Pepper For the sauce:
¤ 200 l. Cream
¤ A splash of sherry or white wine
¤ Olive oil
How to make the recipe salmon and pepper sauce:
Peel and clean potatoes. Slice half an inch thick. Clean the green beans and carrots. Cut into strips.
Cook all vegetables (except mushrooms) preferably steamed or boiled in salt water. Book hot.
Clean and cut the mushrooms and garlic. Put oil in a skillet. When oil is hot, add the crushed garlic and give them a few laps. Add mushrooms and a little salt, cook. Book hot.
Put a plate (roasting) or a pan with a little oil on the fire, when it is hot, put the slices of salmon on top. Add salt and pepper. Let them do it for both sides.
Meanwhile, put a pot on the fire with a little oil. Heat and add the sherry or white wine. Add cream, salt and pepper. Give a boil.
Serve: Choose a plate or tray that you like and distribute all the ingredients except the salsa. Put it in a gravy boat that everyone can enjoy the taste.
Note: If the sauce is very light, add a little cornstarch diluted with a little milk and bring to the boil.
