The Physalis (Physalis peruviana) has excellent nutritional and healing properties. The Physalis or Alquejenje, is a fruit native to warm areas of South America. It was introduced into Europe from the discovery of America. Today it is cultivated mainly in South Africa, Colombia, Peru and Spain.
