Peeled fava This recipe is a family heirloom from long ago, it is very easy to do, have lots of protein and now the first cold like eating a warm meal. It’s time to retrieve the recipes of our grandmothers.
Ingredients for four people:
¤ 500 g of beans (dry vegetable), peeled
¤ 300 g of pasta
¤ 1 medium onion
¤ 2 tomatoes medium
¤ 4 mint sprouts 2 tablespoons fresh or dried
¤ 2 liters of water
¤ Salt and pepper to taste
¤ 3 tablespoons olive oil
How to make the recipe peeled fava:
The night before, put the beans to soak in cold water.
Put water in a large pot, add beans and salt and bring to a boil over medium heat for an hour or so (depending on the type of bean) or until the beans are tender.
While making a sauce with onion and tomato. Add the sofrito to the pot. Pass around a blender until a puree as clearly.
20 minutes before serving food, made of noodles, mint and pepper, simmer until noodles are done.Serve hot.
Note: You can also put some butifarra and sobrasada and give more color and flavor but I make is vegetarian and delicious.
