Here are some nougat balls with no added sugar , very good and appropriate for the Christmas holidays, as everywhere, these days, offer sugar candy. Believe me, a good and wise alternative to traditional nougats … so our bodies and especially our waistline, will suffer less. Ah! and are very easy to make.

¤ Ingredients for about 20 balls
¤ 250 g of raw almonds and peeled
¤ 250 g of chopped natural dates (no honey)
¤ 150 g of coconut grated
¤ 1 orange , its juice and zest
¤ 1 pinch ground cinnamon
How to make nougat recipe with no added sugar:
Put in blender, almonds, dates, coconut, a little cinnamon and blend well. Add the orange juice and zest, continue beating and mixing until a compact mass.
The dough needs to be pretty thick, if not, añadidle a little more grated coconut (if you add a little coconut, changed a little composition per serving).
With your hands form balls and go put them in a serving dish and sprinkle with white lace with cinnamon.
Note: Instead of orange zest and you can put lemon juice, are a little more acidic but they are also very good.
